  • Patient Services Representative (Cedar Park - Call Center)

    Provide scheduling assistance to Lone Star Circle of Care patients and perform insurance verification duties. In addition, Patient Service Representative will perform appointment confirmations, cancellations, and reschedules. Under general supervision, exercises some discretion, makes routine decisions based on existing scheduling guidelines and will assume other duties when assigned. Frequently interacts with the Call Center Team, Clinical Staff and works under the supervision of the Call Center Manager.

Clinical Positions

  • Medical Assistant (Round Rock, South Austin, Georgetown)

    This position will be responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or other licensed nurse and Site Manager. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment, able to handle a wide variety of duties/situations, and be flexible with their schedules. Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish. Medical Assistant Certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, NAHP or NCCT is required along with a current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

    Lone Star Circle of Care is a rapidly growing network of federally qualified health centers (FQHC) committed to providing quality healthcare services to medically underserved adults and children. We are currently seeking successful candidates for Licensed Clinical Social Worker positions. The position is responsible for ensuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of our patients are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Candidates must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and support agencies. Candidates must also possess the willingness and ability to collaborate in developing programs with other professionals, including primary care providers. Successful candidates are required to have a degree from an accredited graduate school, licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners and BCLS certified.
