RSSLSCC to Host Free Enrollment Fairs During Cover the Uninsured Week
Lone Star Circle of Care offers Medicaid/CHIP screening, application assistance to uninsured
In honor of national Cover the Uninsured Week, Lone Star Circle of Care is hosting enrollment fairs at various locations in Central Texas. Individuals and families who are without health insurance are encouraged to come receive a free screening to determine their eligibility for public programs such as Medicaid and CHIP. Screening staff are fluent in English and Spanish, and there are no residency restrictions. First come, first served; no appointments necessary. Please call (877) 800-5722 with questions.

For screening purposes, participants should bring:
- Income verification (pay stub) & recent bank statements
- Birth certificate for each applicant
- Driver’s license or photo ID, social security card for each applicant
- Proof of rent or house payment, utility bills, child care expenses
- Recent unpaid medical bills
