Strategic Partners and Initiatives
Georgetown Health Foundation
Georgetown Health Foundation is a major contributor to LSCC and an important strategic partner. We are thankful to the Georgetown Health Foundation for supporting our continued expansion and helping us increase access to care for the underserved.
Michael & Susan Dell Foundation
Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is a vital contributor to LSCC. They provide grant funding to support our pediatric services, and they also partnered with St. David’s Community Health Foundation to fund the implementation of electronic health records for LSCC and several other Central Texas safety net providers. In 2009 Michael & Susan Dell Foundation also provided LSCC with grant funding to support the pediatric clinic at the Texas A&M Health Science Center clinical hub.
Scott & White Healthcare
LSCC and Scott & White partnered to open a family medicine clinic in Taylor, Texas which provides access to quality care for the medically underserved in eastern Williamson County.
The Seton Family of Hospitals
The Seton Family of Hospitals provided LSCC with a community investment grant to support startup costs for A.W. Grimes Medical Offices, which opened in December 2008. Seton also provided LSCC with a generous grant to support the clinical hub at the Texas A&M Health Science Center in Round Rock, which opened in December 2009. In 2010, Seton sponsored a regional pediatric primary care network for LSCC named Dell Children’s Circle of Care Pediatrics.
St. David’s Foundation
St. David’s Foundation (formerly St. David’s Community Health Foundation) is a major contributor to LSCC. We are thankful to SDF for supporting uninsured and mental health care, as well as their grant to support the implementation of electronic health records for LSCC and several other Central Texas safety net providers. The St. David’s Foundation also generously sponsored the Lone Star Circle of Care Senior Health clinic at Lake Aire Medical Center in Georgetown.
St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center
Our expansion into comprehensive women’s health would not have been possible without St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, which has donated clinic space next to the Medical Center, as well as operating room time for deliveries and surgeries.
St. David’s South Austin Medical Center
St. David’s South Austin Medical Center provided LSCC with a community investment grant to support the opening of Ben White Health Clinic, which is near the hospital and provides a medical home for many uninsured and underinsured patients in South Austin and surrounding areas.
Texas A&M Health Science Center – College of Medicine
Lone Star Circle of Care is proud to be a partner of the Texas A&M Health Science Center (HSC) College of Medicine in Round Rock. LSCC operates a 30,000-square-foot clinical hub on the Health Science Center campus, which opened in December 2009 and features adult, adolescent and pediatric primary care, senior care, OB/GYN, integrated behavioral health services and a pharmacy. Through LSCC’s role as an affiliate of the HSC College of Medicine, our doctors act as clinical faculty for medical students, who rotate through our clinics and learn about the science and art of medicine in a community health center setting.
